The sack sealing entails laying flat two fold flaps in an initial position on the first sack walls and by hinging around horizontal axes moving them into a fold position in which the first sack walls lie horizontally flat on the surface of the material in the sack, whereby the sack flag protrudes upwards over the abutting end faces of the fold flaps. The fold flaps each support suction cushions which with regard to the initial position act upon the respective inner sides of the fold flaps.
