PURPOSE: An apparatus for cleaning and preheating strip of annealing furnace is provided to shorten annealing time and secure quality by removing foreign materials on the surface of the strip and preheating the strip to a certain temperature at the same time before the strip enters into the annealing furnace. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for cleaning and preheating strip of annealing furnace comprising an air injection part comprising a hollow pipe(20) which is put on the upper part of an entrance of the annealing furnace(10) in a width direction of the strip, and on the lower part of which an air injection slit is longitudinally formed, and an air hose(22) connected to one side of a heating tube(12) installed inside the annealing furnace and connected to the upper part of the hollow pipe to supply air of high temperature into the hollow pipe; and a moving means comprising a guide plate(30) installed on the upper front side of the entrance of the annealing furnace, a lowerable and liftable member(31) which is installed between the inner surface of the guide plate and front side of the annealing furnace so that the lowerable and liftable member is lowerable and liftable, and on a bracket installed downward from both front ends of which the hollow pipe is installed, sprocket wheels(32) installed on an axis put on a width direction of the strip(200) in the upper part of the annealing furnace, a chain(33) one side end of which is connected to the upper part of the lowerable and liftable member with being laid across the sprocket wheels, a weight(34) installed at the other side end of the chain, an operating lever(35) installed on the front end of a shaft on which the sprocket wheels are installed, a wire(36) connected to a free end of the operating lever, a driving lever(37) which is rotationally installed at the lower part of the side surface of the annealing furnace, and to one side of which the wire is connected so that the wire is pulled, and a driving lever fixing means, wherein position of the air injection part is moved according to thickness of the strip in the moving means.
