OVERRUN PREVENTION APPARATUS FOR THREE-WAY OPERATOR

PURPOSE: An overrun prevention apparatus is provided to prevent erroneous operations and accidents by reliably preventing overrun of the three-position switch. CONSTITUTION: An overrun prevention apparatus comprises a motor which rotates in a forward and reverse direction within an operator case(1); a decelerator mounted at the front end of the motor; a worm gear interlocked with the decelerator; a Geneva gear motor wheel(5) rotating along with the worm gear; a Geneva gear slave wheel(6) engaged with the Geneva gear motor wheel; a pair of stoppers(8) inserted into the gear grooves formed on the Geneva gear slave wheel; and a lock assembly for permitting a user to lock an extended portion(8a) of the lower stopper. The lock assembly includes a key rod(10) coupled underneath the Geneva gear motor wheel and the Geneva gear slave wheel, a stopper piece(11) formed integrally with the intermediate portion of the key rod, and a key groove(12) formed at an end of the key rod, and which rotates the key rod at 90 degrees from the outside of the operator case.
