PURPOSE: A tire for a vehicle improved in drainage performance is provide to improve drainage performance by increasing the sectional area of a groove of an inlet side and by reducing the sectional area of a groove of an outlet side. CONSTITUTION: A longitudinal groove(2) and a lateral groove(3) are formed to a tread part(1). In the lateral groove, the sectional area of an inlet part(31) meeting with the longitudinal groove is formed large to facilitate inflow of water, and the sectional area of an outlet part(32) is formed small. Thus, viscous effect and counter current of water are reduced, and drainage effect of the lateral groove is improved.
