PURPOSE: A method for controlling pilot fuel quantity correction right after injector change in a common rail diesel engine is provided to determine pilot fuel quantity depending on an average of the learned values in a vibrating acceleration gauge. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling pilot fuel quantity correction right after injector change in a common rail diesel engine comprises the steps of deciding the change of an injector, deciding if a first condition is satisfied after resetting the learned value stored in a memory(S130), performing fuel injection amount learning control for all injectors for pre-determined times(S140), performing pilot fuel quantity correction(S150), and performing a pilot fuel quantity correction learning sub-routine by a vibration gauge after a second predetermined standby time is elapsed(S190).
