<p>Melt is atomized using steam at up to 650 degrees C. Resultant thread-like particles at 600 - 1050 degrees C are supplied to pre-comminution. They are subjected to further steam, supplied transversely with respect to main jet direction. At temperatures below 650 degrees C, the particles are further comminuted in fluidized bed (9).
