LOCKING DEVICE OF HINGED DOOR

PURPOSE: A locking device of a hinged door is provided to prevent from gapping in a contact plane between a doorframe and a door and to maximize air-conditioning/heating and soundproofing efficiencies. CONSTITUTION: The locking device of a hinged door comprises a plate rack(13) installed in a box(8) to be reciprocated, a driven gear(14) provided with a pinion(14a) engaged with the rack(13), a driving gear(16) engaged with the driven gear(14) and rotated by the rotation of a knob(15) installed to the outside of the box(8), a pair of sliders(17) suspended on both ends of the rack(13) to reciprocate by the movement of the rack(13) and provided with a roller(18) to be rotatable, a fixing panel(19) supporting the slider to the door(3) and guiding the reciprocation of the slider, and a locking member(21) fixed on the upper and lower parts of a doorframe and locking or unlocking a door by the movement of the slider.
