PURPOSE: Lid structure for a washing machine is provided to eliminate inconvenience by opening and closing the lid with sliding and overlapping a front lid plate over or below a rear lid plate without bending the wrist many times or lifting the heavy lid at once. CONSTITUTION: A lid(4) of a washing machine installed in a top cover(10) formed in the upper part of an outer case to put the laundry into a washing tub or draw out, and composed of a rear lid plate(4a) fastened in the rear part of the top cover, a front lid plate(4b) installed in the front of the rear lid plate and overlapped on the rear lid plate with sliding along the upper part of the rear lid plate, and a connecting link(6) connecting the front lid plate with the rear lid plate. Convenience is improved by opening and closing the lid with sliding. |
