METHOD FOR DESULFURIZING MOLTEN STEEL

PURPOSE: A method for desulfurizing molten steel is provided, which is characterized in that bubbling lance is vertically moved in the molten steel during bubbling operation and the bubbling lance is dipped into the molten steel once it is lifted to slag layer to split and break inclusions accumulated along the interfacial surface between the molten steel and the slag layer. CONSTITUTION: In a desulfurization method of molten steel (1) in secondary refining process by argon gas injection through bubbling lance (3), the method is characterized in that argon gas is injected into the molten steel in an amount of 1.5 to 10.0 N/t·molten steel·min; the bubbling lance is vertically moved in the molten steel during bubbling operation and the bubbling lance is dipped into the molten steel once it is lifted to slag layer (2) to split and break inclusions (9) accumulated along the interfacial surface between the molten steel and the slag layer.
