PURPOSE: A multi-path searcher for an asynchronous BSM(Base Station Modem) is provided to search an accurate multi-path by accumulating pilot symbol data in a multi-path slot interval and obtaining a more high energy value in case that an energy value of a searched path is low due to the distortion of a signal. CONSTITUTION: An input buffer(10) stores antenna signals(I,Q) inputted through an FIR(Finite Impulse Response) filter. A pilot pattern generator(40) generates a pilot pattern according to a DPCCH(Dedicated Physical Control CHannel) slot format. A despreader(20) despreads the data of the input buffer(10) by a long code scramble code and the pilot pattern. An adder(100) accumulates and calculates pilot symbol data despreaded during a multi-slot through the despreader(20). A squarer(60) obtains an energy of the signal calculated through the adder(100). An output buffer(70) stores an energy value outputted through the squarer(60). A register(80) stores a command transmitted from an upper layer. A slot control unit(200) outputs a suitable control signal to the adder(100) according to the number of slots of pilot symbols to be accumulated and calculated in the adder(100).
