PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation improved in both the solubility and emulsifiability of an ascorbic acid-2-phosphoric ester's higher fatty acid ester salt as its active ingredient so as to efficiently transform the salt into the activated type in the skin tissue, and to provide a cosmetic containing the same. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation contains the ascorbic acid-2- phosphoric ester's higher fatty acid ester salt and has a pH of 7-9. The cosmetic containing the same is also provided.
