PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide resin composition which is improved rapidly in the tracking resistance without damaging largely such the excellent characteristics of a polyarylene sulfide resin as the heat resistance, flame retardancy, rigidity, chemical resistance, wet heat resistance and so on. SOLUTION: The polyarylene sulfide resin composition is a resin composition containing (a) a polyarylene sulfide resin and (b) talc, characterized in that a weight ratio of (b) the talc/(a) the polyarylene sulfide resin is 1.15 or more and a comparative tracking index is 450 V or greater.
