CAMERA SWITCHING CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera switching control method for television cameras that can realize switching of the cameras in a shortest waiting time to reduce the processing cycle per one camera thereby decreasing the processing time of an image processor adopting the switching system.

SOLUTION: The camera switching control method for sequentially switching images photographed by a plurality of the cameras to detect a mobile body is characterized in that the camera switching control method takes a difference between a photographed original image and an updated background image to detect the stable state resulting from a decreased luminance difference between the original image and the background image thereby starting sensing of the mobile body and minimizing a waiting time for sensing different from each scene.
