PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal by which transmission of positional information against a user's intention can be prevented when a position transmission request is issued from a third party to the mobile terminal capable of calculating the position by using a GPS (global positioning system), etc. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal is provided with a position calculation part 1 for calculating the position of the mobile terminal 100, a transmission permission judgment part 2 for judging permission of transmission of the position, a storage part 3 for storing a telephone number, etc., to which transmission of the position is permitted, a communication control part 4 for controlling the entire part of communication and the mobile terminal, an antenna 5 for communication and an input part 6 for setting permission of the transmission of the position, etc., the telephone number stored in the storage part 3 is compared with a telephone number of a requester of the positional information and only when both are coincident, the position is transmitted.
