PURPOSE: A coupling device for a cutting tool is provided to easily manufacture an insert and a shank, and to simply exchange the insert by forming a coupling unit at the insert and a coupled unit at the shank. CONSTITUTION: A coupling device(10) is composed of a coupling unit(110) formed at one end of an insert unit(20), and a coupled unit(130) formed at one end of a shank unit(30). The coupling unit includes a coupling shaft(112) extended from the insert unit. A first boss and a second boss are integrally formed at the circumference of the coupling shaft. A first fixing plate(118) and a second fixing plate(120) are integrally formed at the extended part of the coupling shaft. The coupled unit includes an insertion groove(132) formed at one end of the shank unit. A first guide groove(134) and a second guide groove(136) into which the first and second fixing plate are inserted and integrally formed at the circumference of the insertion groove. A mount groove(140) is formed at one side of the insertion groove, and a rotation preventing pin(150) is fit into the mount groove.
