PROCESS OF REPAIRING AND REINFORCING RAHMEN BRIDGE

PURPOSE: A process of repairing and reinforcing a hinged Rahmen bridge is provided to improve structural stability and minimize working expenses during repairs and reinforcement. CONSTITUTION: The process of repairing and reinforcing the hinged Rahmen bridge contains: introducing pre-camber to prevent the increase of section force caused by the sway resulting from the prestress of a reinforced tendon; continuing a deck by grouting the hinged area(22) of a bridge span and joining the span each other by tendons and steel bars with the additional increase of prestress to prevent deflection and impact caused by live loads; installing trusses to reinforce the concrete compression strength of a bridge slab; installing steel wires inside the concrete box and straining them.
