PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated metallic sheet with feels of irregularity and sophistication and a method for coating the metallic sheet with such feels. SOLUTION: The coated metallic sheet 100 is structured of an undercoat layer 20, an intercoat layer 30 obtained by applying and curing a polyester melamine colored coating material and a final coat layer 40 obtained by applying and curing a polyester melamine coating material containing at least one kind of filler with an average particle diameter of 0.5 mm or less selected from the group consisting of a colored mica, a metallic powder and an organic colored bead, laminated in that order on the surface of the metallic sheet according to necessity. The method for coating the metallic sheet comprises, if necessary, (a) a step to form an undercoat coating film by applying an undercoat coating material on the surface of the metallic sheet 10 with a treated surface, by a spray process or a roll coater process, (b) a step to form an intermediate coating film by applying the polyester melamine colored coating material on the surface of the undercoat coating film by the spray process or the roll coater process and (c) a step to form a final coating film by applying the polyester melamine coating material containing the filler on the surface of the intermediate coating film by the roll coater process.
