PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe in which exact ultrasonic diagnosis can be performed by surely preventing an electromagnetic disturbance caused by external noise or the like. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic probe 1 is configured by having a shaft 5 provided on the outer peripheral portion of a coaxial signal line 10 equipped with an ultrasonic vibrator on the tip side and formed from a conductive member coaxially with the coaxial signal line 10 and wrapping the shaft 5 with a sheath 3 integrally formed while holding a conductor 3a between insulators 3b. In the coaxial signal line 10, a central conductor 11 for transmitting a prescribed electric signal, an insulator 12 for insulating this central conductor 11 and first and second external conductors 13a and 13b provided on the outer peripheral portion of this insulator 12 are coaxially formed. The ultrasonic probe 1 is configured to reduce the characteristic impedance of the first and second external conductors 13a and 13b, the shaft 5 and the conductor 3a of the sheath 3 as they are located from the central conductor 11 to the outside of the direction of the radius.
