PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium for cultivating Cortinellus shiitake containing thiamin in high concentrations and efficiently taking the thiamin into the carpophore, and to provide a method for cultivating the same. SOLUTION: This medium for cultivating Cortinellus shiitake based on mushroom bed cultivation technique, is to be used for obtaining Cortinellus shiitake containing thiamin in high concentrations in the carpophore by incorporating the carpophore with the thiamin in an amount greater than that necessary for the growth of Cortinellus shiitake mycelia and both the formation and growth of the carpophore; wherein the specified amount of the thiamin to be incorporated, suitable for cultivating the objective Cortinellus shiitake, is determined based on the relationship: y=aLn(x)-b or x=exp[1/a×(y+b)] (wherein, x is a variable, being the thiamin content of the medium; y is a variable, being the thiamin content of the carpophore; and (a) and b are constants, respectively).
