Active ingredients in therapeutic composns. for treating circulatory diseases by increasing peripheral and cerebral blood flow, for use in human and veterinary medicine and agriculture, consist of heterocyclic aminoalcohols of formula (I): X-CH(OH)-CH2-CH2-NH-CH(CH3)(CH(OH)C6H5) (where X is thienyl or pyridyl opt. contg. 1-6C alkyl and/or halogen substituent(s) their salts and optically active isomers. They are prepd. e.g. by reducing carbonyl to -OH in X-CO-CH2-CH-NHCH(CH3)(CH(OH)C6H5). |
