<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing stick using a resistance change due to the distortion of a resistor in which the reliability of soldering between a substrate forming the resistor and a base disposed with a prescribed clearance from the substrate is enhanced and the clearance between the substrate and the base is surely formed. <P>SOLUTION: Each of external electrodes 20, 21, 26, and 27 formed at the outer peripheral part of a substrate 12 is constituted of a metallic plate having prescribed thickness, and at least a part of a clearance 15 is specified by the thickness of the metallic plates, and the metallic plate constituting the external electrode 20 or the like is shaped so as to be bent like a U character, and the external electrode 20 or the like is formed so as to be extended from at least the lower side to side face of the substrate 12, and the electric connection of the external electrode 20 or the like and a conductive land on the pedestal 14 is achieved by a solder filter 37 connecting the side face part of the external electrode 20 or the like to the conductive land. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
