<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bulletin board system suitable to the computerization and management of a document requiring the protection of information or the extraction of information on the document in a bulletin board system for browsing sheet medium documents by use of a computer. <P>SOLUTION: In this bulletin board system, a server provided with a file in which the sheet medium document is made into an image data is connected to two or more terminals through a communication line, so that a browser can browse the image file on the server from a terminal. In this system, the name of the browser is electronically watermarked in the image file, and the name of the browser extracted from a medium or individual authentication system capable of specifying the browser is compared with the name of the browser watermarked in the image file, thereby, the approval of the browser is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
