<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the use of a volunteer network, which provides a 3rd party with network use using a radio LAN, by the 3rd party. <P>SOLUTION: The volunteer network, comprising a 1st network composed of a plurality of terminal devices, a 2nd network connected to the 1st network via a connection line, and a 3rd-party terminal device which can be connected to the 1st and 2nd networks and is different from the terminal devices constituting the 1st network and connecting the 3rd-party terminal device and the 2nd network together by using the connection line, is equipped with a terminal authenticating means of authenticating the 3rd-party terminal device, a terminal connecting means of maintaining the connection of only the 3rd-party terminal device authenticated by the terminal authenticating means, a communication party limiting means of limiting a communication party of the 3rd-party terminal device, and a communication traffic limiting means of limiting the communication traffic between the 3rd-party terminal device and its communication party. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
