PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket vending machine by which a burden on a staff is relieved by taking actions to a writing abnormality of a card from a place where it is generated by the staff when the writing abnormality occurs. SOLUTION: The ticket vending machine is constituted of a ticket issuance processing unit 2 for performing a ticket issuance processing by creating a ticket or a prepaid card by writing magnetic data with prescribed contents such as an amount, a money processing unit 3 for checking put-in money such as coins and for ejecting changes if any, a control part 4 consisting of a CPU, etc., and for presiding control of the entire part, a display control part 5 for driving and controlling display contents of a display part (not shown), a card re-issuance information generation part 6 for generating card re-issuance information for re-issuing the card when the card cannot be used due to the writing abnormality, etc., and a communication control part 7 for communicating with a station controller 8.
