A display apparatus (100) includes a plurality of first electrodes (11), a plurality of bidirectional two-terminal elements (12), a plurality of pixel electrodes (14) electrically connected to one of the first electrodes (11) via at least one of the bidirectional two-terminal elements (12) among the plurality of bidirectional two-terminal elements (12), a plurality of second electrodes (17), and a display medium layer provided between the pixel electrodes (14) and the second electrodes (17).
