Production of a bio-artificial trachea implant, comprising: (a) introducing viable cells with a support function (40) between an inner tubular or sleeve-shaped biological or synthetic matrix (10) and an external coaxial tissue matrix (30); and (b) culturing to form a cell composite, the external matrix (30) being vascularized (20) and being of a native or (partly) acellularized (and optionally also at least partly recolonized) tissue material, is new.
