PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable economical production of krypton/argon by low-temperature air separation. SOLUTION: Charge air (1) is introduced into a nitrogen - oxygen separation rectifying facilities containing a high pressure tower (2) and a low pressure tower (3). Krypton/xenon containing fractions (13, 14, 15, 16, 416) are taken out of the high pressure tower (2) and introduced into a vaporizing chamber of a first condenser/evaporator (17) to be partially vaporized. Purge liquid (26, 226) is extracted from the vaporizing chamber of the first condenser/ evaporator (17) and supplied to a krypton/xenon enriching tower (24). Krypton/ xenon enriched flow (30) is taken out of the krypton/xenon enriching tower (24). At this time, the liquid from the lower area of the krypton/xenon enriching tower (24) is introduced into a second condenser/evaporator (27) that is separated from the first condenser/evaporator (17).
