SOLUTION: This transition metal complex is expressed by formula (1) (wherein M expresses a transition metal atom of the 4th family in the periodic table of elements; A expresses an atom of the 15th family in the periodic table of elements; R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>express each H, a 1-10C alkyl, a 6-20C aryl or the like; R<SP>4</SP>, R<SP>5</SP>, R<SP>6</SP>and R<SP>7</SP>express each H, a 1-10C alkyl or the like; X<SP>1</SP>, X<SP>2</SP>, R<SP>8</SP>, R<SP>9</SP>, R<SP>10</SP>and R<SP>11</SP>express each H, a halogen, a 1-10C alkyl or the like; X<SP>1</SP>may bond with X<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>1</SP>may bond with R<SP>2</SP>to form a ring; adjacent R<SP>4</SP>, R<SP>5</SP>, R<SP>6</SP>and R<SP>7</SP>may mutually bond and R<SP>8</SP>, R<SP>9</SP>, R<SP>10</SP>and R<SP>11</SP>may mutually bond to form a ring.
