PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane module, forming potting parts wherein a module case and hollow fiber membranes mutually bonded and fixed are arranged in a highly liquidtight or airtight state by using a potting resin without damaging the characteristics of hollow fiber membranes to be used. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the hollow fiber membrane module, the potting resin charged in the potting processing parts of the single ends or both end parts of hollow fiber membranes made of a thermoplastic resin housed in the module case is heated to a temperature not lower than the melting point of the potting resin and lower than the melting point of the hollow fiber membranes by 20°C or lower and centrifugal force 10-100 times the gravity is applied to the potting processing parts to form the potting parts.
