METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SUPPLYING SELECTIVE COMMUNICATION UNIT USING GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A method and system for supplying a selective communication unit using geographic information is provided to convert a communication unit such as E-mail or short message into a proper communication unit based on geographic information of a client by constructing a database matched with personal information of the client based on specific geographic information and corresponding selective customized communication unit contents. CONSTITUTION: A position registration unit(210) registers specific geographic information of a client from a client wire/wireless terminal. A geographic information database(215) matches the specific geographic information with personal information of the client and stores the matched data. A position recognition unit(220) checks the current geographic information of the client. An information extracting unit(225) matches the current geographic information with the geographic information registered by the client in the geographic information database(215), and decides registration geographic information of the client. A checking unit(230) refers to the geographic information database(215) and extracts data being transmitted to the client through a wire/wireless network to various communication units. A data conversion unit(235) converts or forwards the data transmitted to the client.
