PURPOSE: To improve security by improving a personal identification precision. CONSTITUTION: The personal identification system is provided with a barcode reader for reading a two-dimensional barcode including individual data, a CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) image sensor for imaging the face of a person to prepare face data, and a card reader 60 integrated with a fingerprint reader for reading a fingerprint of the person to prepare fingerprint data. A personal computer 41 side performs projective transformation of the read barcode, also corrects brightness irregularity to accurately acquire data, and collates the individual data with the face data and with the fingerprint data to achieve the person identification.
