PURPOSE: A roll rotating apparatus is provided to fix various kinds of necks to a rolling mill without forming a gap between the necks and the rolling mill while maintaining a center of a roll neck. CONSTITUTION: A roll rotating apparatus includes a cylinder rod and a moving guide(213), which are connected to a cylinder(200). An outer guide(209) and a driving motor are provided to rotate a roll. A case of the roll rotating apparatus is installed at one side of a rolling mill supporter. A fixing table is mounted on the rolling mill supporter in order to support a lateral portion of the roll. The case of the roll rotating apparatus is arranged opposite to the fixing table. The cylinder(200) is mounted on one side of the case. A connection rod(204) is connected to the moving guide(213).
