PURPOSE: A database constructing method of a mobile communication network system is provided to automatically generate H/W dependent PVC(Permanent Virtual Channel) information by creating peer-to-peer PVC set information as separated logical information and constructing actual physical location and H/W dependent information in a different database. CONSTITUTION: Configuration information of an ATM switch and a logical PVC data base are loaded respectively in a configuration database and an operation database of a PLD(Programmable Logic Device) to construct an initial PVC database. It is judged whether to increase, delete or change a link. If the link increase is requested, an ATM chip resource is assigned to a non-overlapped PVC item and a H/W PVC item in the database by using the assigned resource and the logical PVC information. If a link deletion is requested, an ATM chip resource is retrieved for a corresponding PVC item, a reduction-installation command is transmitted to a pertinent device, and then, when a deletion is terminated, the corresponding item is deleted and the H/W PVC database is corrected. If the link change is requested, the link deletion process is performed, a link increase process is performed, and then the corresponding database is corrected.
