SPINDLE MOTOR FOR HARD DISK DRIVE WITH HEAT-SHIELDING AND HEAT-RADIATING STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A spindle motor for a hard disk drive that has heat-shielding and heat-radiating structure is provided to prevent heat generated from a stator from being transferred to bearings through a base to improve thermal stability of the bearings. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor(100) for a hard disk drive rotates a hub(120) in one direction through a magnetic field formed between a coil(146) and a permanent magnet(170) when power is applied to a stator(140). Uneven surface is formed on one of the inner face of a hole of the stator and the outer face of a fixed body(112) inserted into the hole of the stator such that a plurality of apertures(148a) are formed between the outer face of the fixed body and the inner face of the hole of the stator when the fixed body and the hole of the stator are combined with each other.
