PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring a current and a voltage of a color electroluminescent device is provided to measure a red, a green and a blue colors, to measure all of the whole screen or the sub-pixels as well as to analyze the difference of the consumption power by allowing the frequency division and the duty modulation. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for measuring a current and a voltage of a color electroluminescent device includes a sample holder(2) to install the color electroluminescent device, an x, y and z motion stage(6), provided with an illumination detector(4) installed on the sample holder(2) to measure the illumination of the color electroluminescent device, to control the positions of the measurements, a current and voltage measurement box(8) for switching various data to be transmitted to the color electroluminescent device mounted to the sample holder(2), a current and voltage controller(10) for transmitting the data required to the measurement of the color electroluminescent device characteristics to the current and voltage measurement box(8) and for collecting the data measured from the current and voltage measurement box(8) and a computer(12) for commanding the order of the measurement to the illumination detector(4) and the current and voltage controller(10) to analyze various data transmitted from the illumination detector(4) and the current and voltage controller(10) and for transmitting the characteristics of the color electroluminescent device to the monitor after the graphic process.
