<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of setting ejected transfer paper so that the printed side faces up or down according to whether a platen glass is used or a DDF is used. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device 10 having an operation part 30, the platen glass 13, a document feeder 11, and an inverting part 22 which inverts the transfer paper 16, is provided with a specifying means that specifies the direction in which transfer paper is ejected when the platen glass 13 is used and the direction in which transfer paper is ejected when the document feeder 11 is used.
