PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a client server system in which a client is not required to provide a plurality of control instructions by a compact hypertext description language, depending on the inability of functions, even if the control instruction of a hypertext description language and the control instruction of a compact hypertext description language are mixed. SOLUTION: In the client server system, constituted of a plurality of servers and a plurality of clients and being applied with a hyper text description language (HTML), the server or the client is constituted by being equipped with a CHTML conversion part, which converts a control instruction of CHTML to the equivalent HTML, when a control instruction of the compact HTML (CHTML) is included in a document by HTML.
