PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an helical antenna device communicable to a plurality of objective resonance frequencies using an identical base substance and capable of the reducing both production process and production cost. SOLUTION: The antenna device includes a base substance 1 formed of a dielectric or a magnetic material substantially having a rectangular prism shape, alternatingly having a plurality of concaves 2 of groove shape on a pair of mutually opposing side faces extending to both the top face and the bottom face, and convexes 3 positioned between these concaves 2. The antenna device also includes electrode conductors 4 of line shape formed on both the top face and the bottom face and either of the concaves 2 or the convexes 3, helically surrounding the base substance 1 as a whole, in such a way that the electrode conductors 4 are structured by skipping over at least one of either the concaves 2 or the convexes 3. Thus, helical antenna devices having a variety of resonance frequencies can be obtained by use of the identical base substance 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
