PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid body wash composition which gives rich creamy foams and has excellent stability at low temperature of <5°C. SOLUTION: This liquid body wash composition containing higher fatty acids and their potassium salts in a total amount of 30 to 40 wt.% is characterized in that the fatty acid composition comprises 30 to 60 wt.% of lauric acid, 20 to 70 wt.% of myristic acid, 5 to 25 wt.% of palmitic acid, and 0 to 3 wt.% of stearic acid in a higher fatty acid: higher fatty acid potassium salt weight ratio of 0.001:99.999 to 1:99.
