<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveying mechanism and an image forming device equipped with the paper conveying device prevented from wrinkling a paper sheet and causing a paper jam even if conveying a roll paper sheet with a width of 210 mm or a paper sheet of A1 size or larger. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of roller bodies 86 provided at a driven roller 82 are respectively fixed by individual shafts 85. The shafts 85 are journaled by supports 87, and a plurality of supports 87 are fixed to a mounting plate 88. The shafts 85R of the roller bodies 86R positioned on the right side R of the center in the cross direction of conveyance are inclined so that the peripheral surface of the roller bodies 86R are inclined obliquely to the right, and the shafts 85L of the roller bodies 86L positioned on the left side L of the center in the cross direction of conveyance are inclined so that the peripheral surface inclines obliquely to the left.
