摘要 PURPOSE: Improved infrared radiation absorbents are provided which are themselves highly resistant against heat, capable of producing products having the original material characteristics of thermoplastic polymers without adversely affecting the workability or the environmental conditions and capable of being stored for an extended period of time, and methods of producing such absorbents are provided. CONSTITUTION: The ultraviolet radiation absorbent for thermoplastic polymer materials contains cyclic imino ester compound of the following formula 1 in an amount of over 99.5 wt.% and less than 100 wt.% and has an acid value in the range of 1x10¬-3 to 1 or a chlorine ion content in the range of 1x10¬-1 to 1x10¬3 ppm. In he formula 1, the ultraviolet radiation absorbent contains the cyclic imino ester compound shown by the formula 1 in an amount of over 99.9 wt.% and less than 100 wt.% and has an acid value in the range of 3x10¬-3 to 1x10¬-1 or a chlorine ion content in the range of 1.5x10¬-1 to 5x10¬2 ppm.
