PURPOSE: A ferro-electric liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating a cover layer and a reflecting plate thereof are provided to resolve the display deterioration by forming fine and uniform surface protrusions on a reflecting surface and spin-coating elementary acryl particles mixed with a transparent photosensitive material on the reflecting surface. CONSTITUTION: A ferro-electric liquid crystal display device includes a reflecting layer(20) formed on an upper substrate(10) of liquid crystal cells for generating diffused reflection in any other parts than electrode pattern areas, and an aluminum cover layer(11) formed on the reflecting layer by aluminum deposition for removing stains generated in active areas of the liquid crystal cells. The reflecting layer is a coating layer formed with a plurality of fine protrusions(20a) on the upper substrate by spin coating of a mixture of a photosensitive material and acryl having elementary grains of uniform grain size.
