<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative ion generating device capable of adjusting the volume of negative ion generated at a fixed voltage. SOLUTION: The negative ion generating device comprises a negative electrode 1, a power source 2, a wind deflection plate 3, a deodorant 4, a fan 5, an electronic dust collection part 6, and a housing 7. For example, the negative electrode is constructed only by needle-shaped electrodes, and made laterally movable by a slide mechanism or the like. The power source 2 is that of direct current and connected to the negative electrode 1. The quantity of negative ion can be adjusted by changing the volume of the wind flowing in the vicinity of the negative electrode 1 by moving the negative electrode laterally.</p> |
