PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure long term stabilized operation even when a large number of solid state lasers are used. SOLUTION: A part of laser light being outputted from the solid state laser is introduced to a PD 22 and fed back to a drive circuit 42 through an APC circuit 41 thus controlling the drive current of an LD 15 such that the laser light output becomes constant. Thermistors 24-26 detect the temperature of the LD 15, a resonator block 31 and an etalon 17 and temperature control circuits 43-45 control these temperatures to have set values. Information of the drive current and the temperature is taken into a CPU 46 and transmitted to a host computer 48 on a network through a network interface circuit 47. The host computer 48 monitors a large number of solid state lasers on the network collectively and delivers an operational command for reregulating the temperature depending on the drive current to each solid state laser. |
