<p>A workstation (Fig. 1A) is provided comprising multiple worktops and desk easel facilities for reading, writing, drawing, and computer usage. Two worktops (176, 186) project adjacently on heavy-duty drawer slides between a separate, high desktop (172) and a slidable, lower worktop (176). This three-tier arrangement greatly increases available working space and space-efficiency by separating desktop and worktop functions, and by providing two additional worktops (176, 186) laterally and vertically without increasing the floor footprint. Third worktop (186) support and adjustable desk easel (180, 187) for purposes of reading, writing, and drawing. Third worktop (186) is made independently slidable so that desk easel remains accessible when first worktop (174) has to be pushed in to draw out the second worktop (176) below it (174).</p> |
