<p>An aqueous ink composition for a ball-point pen, which comprises non-thermoplastic colored resin particles having an average particle diameter of 2 to 20 μm in an amount of 5 to 30 wt % relative to the total amount of the ink composition and non-colored particles having a glass transition temperature lower than 0˚C. The non-colored particles preferably have an average particle diameter of 0.01 to 10 μm. The aqueous ink composition preferably further comprises at least one of an ethylene oxide adduct or an propylene oxide adduct of glycerol and an ethylene oxide adduct or an propylene oxide adduct of diglycerol in an amount of 1 to 30 wt % relative to the total amount of the ink composition. The aqueous ink composition for a ball-point pen is stable for a long period of time and is excellent in writing characteristics and excellent both in the erasability with an eraser and the resistance to scuffing.</p> |
