The door cladding (10) has an inner side facing the passenger compartment (14) of the automobile and a flat heating element that radiates heat towards the interior of the automobile machined into the cladding. The cladding has an arm rest (28) and a door handle (30) and the flat heating element is arranged near the arm rest and/or the door handle.
