PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a metal cap that is prevented from being thrust by automatically becoming deformed and releasing out the pressure of the contents of a container when the pressure in the container containing carbonated beverage or the like, left in a car or a building, increases abnormally. SOLUTION: In the metal cap 3 in which knurls are formed on its peripheral face in order to release out the pressure of contents such as carbonated beverage, the knurls comprise knurls 6 and knurls 7, which are combined. Each knurl 6 has narrow slits 6a and each knurl 7 has one or more wide slits 7a. |
