DEVICE FOR PREVENTING BREAKAGE OF FUEL TANK IN VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A vehicle having an apparatus for preventing breakage of a fuel tank is provided to prevent fire or explosion by restricting collision of a fuel tank and a propeller shaft with inserting an impact preventive protector and a high stiffness rubber. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle has an engine(110) generating rotational force; a transmission system(120) receiving rotational force from the engine; power train units(130,160,180) having a front drive shaft transmitting rotational force to front wheels partially, a propeller shaft transmitting remaining rotational force to rear wheels, and a rear drive shaft driving rear wheels with rotational force from the propeller shaft; a fuel system(150) having a fuel tank installed at a side of the propeller shaft; and an impact preventive protector(210) installed between the propeller shaft and the fuel tank. An impact buffer rubber(220) is mounted between the impact preventive protector and the fuel tank. Fire or explosion is prevented by restricting the propeller shaft from being bumped into the fuel tank.
