PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for sterilization of human excrement and sewage capable of sterilizing the human excrement and sewage in pressurized vessels at a uniform temperature without heat unevenness and deodorizing vapor exhausted from the pressurized vessels. SOLUTION: The apparatus for sterilization process for human excrement and sewage 10 is provided with a pair of pressurized vessels 20 receiving the human excrement and sewage 19 carried out from a carrying-in vessel 11; a pair of evaporating kettles 35 installed with top and bottom communicating pipes 27a, 27b respectively at the top and bottom ends 20a, 20b of the pressurized vessels 20 and which can heat up the human excrement and sewage flowing in from the pressurized vessels 20 through the bottom communication pipes 27a up to 121 deg.C by sheathed heaters 36; first deodorizing pipes 30 receiving vapor generated by boiling in the vaporizing kettles 35, and condensing, filtering and deodorizing the received vapor by shower water; and second deodorizing pipes 45 receiving the vapor deodorized through the first deodorizing pipes 30, producing odorless air by passing the deodorized vapor through a position, where an activated carbon 46 is placed, and exhausting the air to the outside. |
